and while I was looking at her prints, I couldn't help but to notice the connection between her original works and the roles she played on Broadway. For example:
This print titled Millie is based on her character...Millie... from Thoroughly Modern Millie!
for which she won her first Tony!
This print is probably the more recognizable character. It's Fiona from Shrek the Musical! Cameron Diaz might have voiced her on screen, but Sutton embodied her on the stage.
This is Reno! Sutton played her in the Broadway revival of Anything Goes back in 2011.
And surprise, she got her 2nd Tony!
And last but not least, Violet. This show, also called Violet, actually played earlier this year, back in March 2014 (counting previews).
